This is something I was chatting to others about recently with how shit multiplayer has gotten and the maths behind it and we were all in universal agreement it's not really worth it anymore. Until modern games come out that don't run like shit and allow for proper self-hosted servers I'm sticking to singleplayer and it's made me a lot happier.
