When the last heat wave was forecast for New England, I cooked up a large batch of pasta salad and vegetable salad the days before it hit. So all i had to do was open the fridge and serve it up.
When it's too hot to cook, don't. Use take out, or preplanned..but don't cook on the stove-it only makes it worse.
I should have bought some potatoes and eggs for salad. Damn! I knew there was something I forgot!
