Sure, I get that, but my point was that you asked what people here thought, and I don't expect that sort of genuinely nuanced analysis of economics and geopolitics here. Most that will tell you to study economics really only mean the parts you need to agree with them on bitcoin and/or other cryptos. The general sentiment is, in my opinion, likely to boil down to mostly "lol yet another fiat shitcoin".
It's an interesting question worthy of discussion, though. I don't really know much about any BRICS currency, so I can't comment meaningfully on it directly, but I'm not keen to trust Russia or China, and I'm not really liking the directions some other core members are heading, so I worry that even if it's a good idea, it will be corrupted just as badly by those in charge of it.
