This is about the state of #friendica documentation:
I tried maintaining the client list for a bit as that was very outdated, chaotic and incomplete. What I found frustrating when working on friendica documentation was, that there is not a single place to maintain info. There are many places:
github.com/friendica/friendica/tree/develop/doc
github.com/friendica/friendica/wiki
wiki.friendi.ca
git.friendi.ca/ could be another one (migration has stalled and that is another important topic that still needs to be resolved)
This is confusing and I think part reason why documentation is in the state it is. And I think documentation needs to be consolidated.
Had high hopes for the MKdocs PR to help resolve this. There is docs.friendi.ca/develop/ which looks great and seems to be working fine but the PR never made it through (not meaning to complain or point fingers).
Is there a way forward to bring this into a cleaner and easier to maintain state?
Do we just need a hero to move that PR forward and if that happens, would that be sufficient to close the other wikis?
