I'm fortunate to have access to it, but OMFG I'm glad to have taken my last dose of paxlovid this morning. When they say "it leaves a bitter taste in your mouth" what they really mean is "your mouth will taste like nothing but strong bitters for the entire 5 days you are on it". This is probably made worse because I have a very keen sense of smell and taste.
So far my worst COVID issues have been:
1. strep-like sore throat for 4 days
2. paxlovid-induced bitter mouth
