Little fiddly #Mastodon question: if I block someone, but other people who are not blocked reply to me and that person, Mastodon hides those replies, which I did not ask it to do. Or did I? Is there some setting I can change?

This is annoying because if one person is being a jerk or derailing a convo, I might like to block them but continue the convo with other people not being jerks, but then I don't see non-jerk replies.
