Last week the slugs stopped attacking the sweet corn in our garden, and I decided to plant a red kuri squash followed by a zucchini plant and sunflowers two days later. All that went well. This evening, in a light warm summer rain, I planted two butternut squash and a cucumber. If that goes well I have one more butternut and two more red kuris and a mystery specimen of Cucurbitaceae from a seed in the #compost. How relaxing after dealing with so many things on 3 continents. #gardening #summer
