I'm slightly surprised to find out that, when the time came to put my cross in the box, I ended up voting Green. I mean… it's Doncaster Central, so it's very unlikely I'll get the MP I voted for, but that's been the case at almost every election I've voted in.
When it comes down to it, the Greens have a manifesto that has its bonkers bits, but which is committed to actually doing something about the climate clusterfuck. And, despite their TERFy wing, an admirable commitment to LGBTQIA+ rights.
