Another Tory MP - Natalie Elphicke - has 'crossed the house' to join the Labour Party briefly.... she is not standing at the next election.
So, one has to ask; what are her motives.
Given the criticisms she make of Sunak could have largely been made of his predecessors & of the party policy for much of the time she's been an MP, we must conclude something else is in play...
Perhaps, she's hoping that there will be rewards after an election.... but I wonder what she wants?
