Monogamy is for us because it's made our lives wonderful for 37 years, not because we feel constrained or are trying to conform to someone else's arbitrary rules.

And I agree with the post you're quoting: jealously is a sign of a seriously-dysfunctional relationship, as is an unbalanced power dynamic where a submissive partner is trying to meet all of a dominant partner's needs.
