Lidl is shaking up UK #retail in more ways than just their pricing model.
This month they have doubled the full-pay maternity & adoption leave available to their staff to 28 weeks.
The battle for retail staff (see Sainsbury's pay rise posted yesterday) is starting to have some benefits for those prepared to take these jobs.
Its good to see our current travails are having some (some!) benefits for #workers.
(Interestingly Tesco is also moving in this direction)
