With the frames glued & dried it's time to "V" nail them. This machine drives nails into the corners of the frames to help hold the joints together overtime. We also call this operation "pinning." Sadly, this is where a lot of frames get ruined. Fancy scalloped frames can be hard to judge where to pin them so the "V" nail doesn't pop through the top. And if your foot slips on the sensitive two stage actuation pedal it can crush a frame or stack multiple nails into it that come out the top. 7/12
