"However, the most commonly accepted origin story for the rhyme is that of the London Bridge actually falling down in 1014 — because Viking leader Olaf Haraldsson allegedly pulled it down during an invasion of the British Isles."

So it was is Vikings💪

Olaf later became known as Saint Olav, and he is the half-brother of Harald Hardrada, whom @enur72 writes about in the book #Fraudcoin. The story in the book is that Hardrada learned about inflation (less silver in the coins) from his time as the commander of the Varangian Guard in the Byzantine Empire. He went on to invade England in 1066 but failed and was killed in the Battle of Stamford Bridge. The English king Harold turned around his forces after the battle and raced south. He met the Normans (other descendants of Vikings) at Hastings and lost to William the Conqueror. Thus, both the Viking Age came to an end, and also the Anglo-Saxons as the ruling class of England.
