One last thing I'll say about this post is that even with the threat of force, as with the case with ISIS, Muslims still chose to not use gold and silver.

Many fiat Muslims will assert that we need to go back to using gold and silver, and that there's no need for Bitcoin. We wrote this essay to demonstrate that politically powerful Muslims have already tried to revive the gold standard, and they've all failed.
If fiat Muslims still want to bring back the gold standard, then go ahead, but at least acknowledge these failures first and come up with a plan that doesn't amount to "just trust me bro".
