One of the smoke detectors had (emphasis on HAD) a dead battery and did the annoying battery chirp. I just changed all the batteries on all of them. Still chirping. History says they might stop soon, but who knows?
Why is it the only indicator that smoke detector engineers have come up with is the 1.5 minute chirp? LEDs sell 10 for a penny. Just add another LED that's labeled "dead battery"
This is a worthless product.
