The City of Hamilton has disclosed that they have been a victim of a ransomware attack since February 25. This attack took down their phone lines and affects several municipal services like their bus scheduling app, library WiFi & permit applications.
Council has postponed all meetings until at least March 15 as staff could not conduct their daily activities as usual.
