Though, I'm interested in why you fell away from it around 1998 if you don't mind sharing. My impression is that the lambdaMOO language is a basically genius domain specific language, and it seems kind of like it just faded into the background with I guess the glamorous commercialisation of the web. Afterwards to me so far it seems like later massively multiplayer online games and things have probably consciously fought against giving users the power and life lambdaMOO did.
