It’s a tool and a skill to be able to find silver linings. Part of that same kit is the ability to redefine perspectives and mindsets at will.
Now. There is a similar tool; but a different make, stronger components, better craftsmanship, more expensive. Rarer. Is to be able to take a goal or an endpoint, could be anything; material, intangible, internal, personal, societal, whatever.
You start with that endpoint and that tool (if you can handle it) allows one to conceive or reverse engineer a path to it that is completely of your own design.
The one I crafted today is as follows: self actualization (reaching full potential) can be attained by finding one’s way as damningly close to insanity as possible without crossing that line.
