Amidst all the AI craze, the continuous efforts by corporations (see #Microsoft’s latest fuckery) to get their hands on personal data is so exhausting. There is no valid reason behind this, their “innovations” are not designed to improve their product. Instead they actively endanger people’s lives. And if I, a relatively non-tech savvy person, recognises this, I can only imagine what my knowledgeable tech peeps must be feeling.
