So this is weird.
I removed my opnsense router, which had a local domain name configured. So I was, for example, ssh'ing from my laptop to my desktop with hostname.beef.pad. Now the ATT router doesn't have a configuration for a local domain name. From my laptop I can ping hostname and it's responding fine.
But when I try to ssh to just the hostname, or eventually times out and says it can't connect to hostname.beef.pad.
Wtf?
