Aha, so the #ONS answer to their data problems (caused by uneven & falling responses to their data requests) is to pay people for responding to their various statistical surveys...
Certainly not sure this will sort out the data holes (although it may increase coverage from poor segments of society eager for a but of cash)... all I can think of is the US blood service paying for donations & the problems that caused (perhaps an imperfect parallel, though?)
