We have been homeschooling our five kids long before the scamdemic. Youngest is starting Kindergarten, oldest is now doing PSEO in Jr year and will be well on his way to becoming a journeyman electrician by the time he graduates HS. All of them will be capable of independent thought. Like Jack says, our job as parents is to raise adults. My wife and I did not have kids so someone else could raise and indoctrinate them. Although there have been challenges, I wouldn't change a thing. #homeschooling
