I need to get the actual server software back in... but some things I already noticed changing distro on the server...
1 - the drive lights no longer do fireflies on boot.
2 - graphic performance in gui HUGELY improved.
3 - server fans are lower.
4 - power draw at idle is almost double.

Though, that last one, something may be turned off from trouble shooting
