G was back to her normal mental self today, but the bruises are, as expected, huge and spreading. She's walking very stiffly and is, obviously, extremely tired. She's safe and home now, though, and I even managed to retrieve the bikes. All's well, but the horrific image of the accident will never leave me.

Thanks to all the well wishers, it helped to get my trauma down in words last night.
