M-Pesa seems to be a great solution for people, that have a phone but no physical access to a bank. It operates through SMS and is therefore very resilient in a sense, that it is easy to have big reach on a low value infrastructure. But it has very high transaction cost from 0.25-0.5 USD per transaction, while the transactions are often below 10 USD.

Is there a person willing to take action, go to the countries and help people to adapt cheap independent lightning payments? It seems that there is a market for it. M-Pesa is already a kind of P2P network. It already is phone to phone. So it could be easy to win people for the lightning idea. And with the saved transactionfees, one would make a real change in those communities.
I currently can not do it. But would be happy if the idea is shared until some people go. This is a great chance to have real live adaption of a big Bitcoin economy.
