A crazy thing is happening in Slovakia. I can't wrap my head around how crazy it is this can last so long. Their land registry was encrypted by a ransomware mid December. Apparently the backup systems were either compromised or non-existent. Today, many weeks after the attack it's still not working and the authorities are silent (or almost silent).

I won't go into the details, bacause I know little about it. The reason I'm writing this in english is to remind everyone how bad the state can be with IT. And this is not a small thing, imagine all the real estate trade that's halted, all the people with locked up money and contracts that expire at certain date and may include sanctions.
It is kinda hillarious to watch this from ancap point of view, the state is failing, yay! And this is not a small failiure imo. Will they even recover it? Can you trust the recovered database? What scams are enabled by this?

Real estate ownership = an entry in an incompetent state run centralized database. It really is a shitcoin.
