This phrase is not just words, but a reality I lived with all its details. It reached a point where I was defending a world that wasn’t mine and principles that weren’t mine. I don’t regret distancing myself from it, deleting it, and throwing it in the trash. The standards set by its leaders were enough to make me want to burn my phone, but as I said, I was a prisoner, following the people of money. I didn’t realize that they had nothing to do with freedom, but I was drawn to the well-crafted words. Now, after four and a half months, I have learned what freedom truly means.
