I'm happy the Tories are gone. If only to hold up a mirror to anyone self defeating enough to vote for them in the first place, but Starmers labour has all the problems of the US democratic party, same lobby influences, faces the same internal and external threats to democracy, including the backers of dems. It is also a party likely overthrown by oligarchy before it began. Such is the cost of the allegiances it takes to avoid progressivism and stay on the ballot.

So I'm not...happy...exactly.
