I'm stuck in a dilemma.
I've stopped consuming news. I'm far too volatile to be able to process it without great risk.
I want to mute a ton of terms to just even start scrolling the internet (because, well, you out there are my escape from the red hellscape around me), but without further increasing my risk....yet....
At what point is it a problem to not be aware?
I still don't know what to do to protect myself or my son and feel like I need to find resources and how will I if I eliminate content?
I've told my son to stop telling people of our Hispanic heritage. I've scrubbed the internet of content that puts out there that we are Dems, best I can, realizing voting records.
No idea how to protect myself financially - I fully expect them to go after a woman's ability to be financially independent. Afterall, that only came to be in like, what, the 80s? Low hanging fruit.
I've put my home improvement plans on ice. I will spend no more big money in case I need it for something else.
Also if I mute all the political terms, does that mean ultimately that I mute myself and any response to me?
