This is Langrenus, a 132-km-wide crater on the eastern shore of the Mare Fecunditatis, seen on UT 29th November. It dates to the Eratosthenian period (~3.2-1.1 billion years ago). It's notable for its terraced walls, representing landslides down an originally steeper rim in the time since its formation. #Moon #Lunar #Astrophotography
