What do people think about STL? I mean, yes, compile times are terrible & it's overcomplicated (imho) and probably not the fastest ..
I've worked in several places where either STL was considered a mortal sin, or "the standard"(tm)
one advantage obv is that any C++ compiler has at least some version of STL
creating your own takes more work
both seem to work
I'm curious what the state of STL usage is in the game industry
