The thing that still weirds me out about “American Nightmare,” is that with all the muscle cars in the world, why would she tell police the sound of a revving engine recalled a “Mustang.” It actually was a Mustang, but that wasn’t known to anyone until months later. Rather uncanny coincidence, no?
