The rate of lava advancement has slowed to 20 meters per hour (from 1 km per hour in the beginning). It's still unclear how far it will get before it runs out of steam.
One thing that is clear is that if it hadn't piled up against the #Grindavik berms, it would have gone straight into town.
(Irony alert: the settlement at most risk of the lava flow in the south is the farm "hraun", meaning "lava" ;) )
