American workers are so incredibly isolated and alienated by modern capitalism. Cars destroy our public interactions, we spend our commutes alone. Our 3rd spaces are dead, meeting new ppl in public is a nightmare. Dating apps are a nightmare. The "enshitification" of social media serves a purpose: keep the prisoners futilely communicating with bots and scammers, and only engaging over permitted topics like sports and celebrities. Shadow ban everyone else into oblivion.
