Back in 2010 e.g. there were a lot of tiny low traffic foreign language imageboards. You checked them in a short time and every evening I found something interesting or surprising. NAS still fullfills this requirement. 15mins at most and I find something. If I blocked the image dumpers it would probably take only slightly less time.
That is also why I began to build up an RSS reader again. Serendipity is almost gone from the net.
