Ok, Idalia is now on land
The track did shift back to the east, so we were out of direct harm. Winds here haven't been too bad yet, but we're still waiting to see what will happen as the storm whips around in our direction. It's been raining all night as the bands have moved towards us, getting probably tropical storm strength gusts if I had to guess (which I do, no tools for me to measure it lol) If you look at the radar there is a big band of storms that's moving away from the eye right now and that's what I suspect will take us out as it pushes out west.
We'll see! Check back in sometime this afternoon!
