Yaafei wins the UAE Championship for Formula-4 Boats

The Sharjah (WAM) has concluded the second round of the UAE Formula-4 powerboat racing championship, part of the Khorfakkan Maritime Festival organized by the Sharjah International Marine Sports Club. Salem Yafei won the championship, with Obaid Al-Mubarak coming in second, both from the Mubarak Marine team, and Khalid Al-Zeraani from the Sharjah team coming in third. In the closing ceremony, Sheikh Ahmed bin Hamdan Al Nahyan, President of the Modern Sailing and Rowing Federation, honored the winners, accompanied by Ahmed Issa Al-Hosani, General Manager of the Sharjah International Marine Sports Club. Alia Al-Firooz, the first Emirati woman to participate in this category, was also honored for her participation. Ahmed Al-Hosani said that the Sharjah International Marine Sports Club is proud to organize the championship as part of the Khorfakkan Maritime Festival, which reflects our continuous efforts to support and develop marine sports in the UAE. He added that the championship witnessed strong participation from local and international competitors, reflecting the UAE's position as a leading sports destination in the region, and emphasized the success of the championship, which highlights our commitment to providing exceptional sports platforms that foster competition and cooperation among marine sports enthusiasts.
