My first encounter with Kris Kristofferson was when i was 10yo watching him driving that Ferrari like a maniac in A Star is Born (it's all i remember from that movie til i rewatched it years later). At that time, I barely knew he was a singer. It wasn't until my 20s when I finally listened to his music. That first record completely changed everything I thought about not only country music, but about songwriting and storytelling in any medium.
I'm gonna miss that voice.
