Our house had a joist that bowed. It was under the door from the laundry room to the garage. As a result that door stuck bad. Today the boy and I jacked that up and replaced the joist and fixed the problem. Now it opens easily. I forgot to tell my wife. She just took the trash out to the garage. She clutched the door knob, turned it and pulled hard putting her weight into it. The door flew open, crashed into the wall and she went flying backwards. Thank God she barely kept to her feet.
