If you can't vote Democrat in 2028 it won't be because of Trump, but because the party imploded. Losing to Trump twice, this time decisively, is not something they can easily come back from. Don't be surprised if we finally see the rise of a competitive alternative. Which might guarantee a Republican White House well into the 2030s.
