"Are you angry when someone's armpits stink or when their breath is bad? What would be the point? Having such a mouth and such armpits, there's going to be a smell emanating. You say, they must have sense, can't they tell how they are offending others? Well, you have sense too, congratulations! So, use your natural reason to awaken theirs, show them, call it out. If the person will listen, you will have cured them without useless anger. No drama nor unseemly show required."

— Marcus Aurelius, Meditations, 5.28

This quote from Marcus Aurelius suggests approaching non-Bitcoiners with patience and understanding rather than frustration or judgment. Just as one might react calmly to a natural but unpleasant trait, sharing Bitcoin insights should be done gently and reasonably, aiming to enlighten without causing offense or resentment. What angers me are the conversations with people who think they already know it all and have nothing new to learn about Bitcoin or plain simply don’t want to know anything about Bitcoin. My blood pressure rises with these people but I try my best to keep my emotions in check. Approach Bitcoin with love, patience, and understanding. With this attitude, people who are initially hesitant about Bitcoin will naturally gravitate to you when they need Bitcoin because they know you won’t judge them.
