As I’ve argued privately, Threads will probably win the journalists over. But that isn’t necessarily a good thing for them or us. We have to stop just accepting the really terrible things the valley culture and its billionaires keep feeding us, and take a more proactive position in all of this. But we probably won’t. The generations coming up seem to accept enshittification as their normal. So it goes.
