Each having different purposes. All of which are fulfilled in the coming of Messiah, the Christ, but are applied differently because they have different reasons for being given. Much like the exact rules of the road in England should not apply to France, but the intent of being a safe driver and following the rules to keep those around you safe is universal in both countries. We call it general equity. The moral underpinnings are universal. Acts chapter 10 answers the question why you can eat pork. It’s not about the pork, it’s about the lesson on holiness God was giving to his people in the mosaic covenant, which has been fulfilled in Christ, which means he kept it on our behalf. Acts chapter 10 is about the good news going to Israel first and then to all people everywhere without racial distinction.
