But then you are just back doing steganography with cryptography. M4 contains the encrypted message, M5 the key, ... nothing new, right? So if adversary detects that M4 might contain data but then sees it's just gibberish, same as the M5 decryption key, the match between the two adds to the obscurity but the actual recipient would also need to understand where to look, so it's just steganography with extra steps.
