I just setup my account today, and as a Bitcoiner, it did bother me about generating my key-pair in a client (like Primal), so I generated them with the Alby extension.

I was reading that some hardware wallets can now generate them.

I guess I'm putting some trust in Alby in generating/storing the key and then signing. (I have an existing relationship with them, and trust them quite a bit.) But, this whole setup certainly isn't as good my Bitcoin setup... and that kind of seemed OK to me until reading this tread.

But, someone gaining access/control to someone's social-media account/on-line presence does seem a pretty weighty concern.
