That's why it's more accurate to say taxation is robbery. Theft is done secretively, sort of like misuse of tax dollars for personal gains, or a big one is inflation.
Things should be funded voluntarily, with consent. Like we do in the free market. "Public goods" could be funded "GoFundMe"-style, or pay-per-use, pay-as-you-go.
