Folks need to recognize it exactly for what it is and call it out. In the meantime we can stop this facade of being "civil" in general.
Like I think if you don't like a thing someone says and you say, "lol get fucked" that should be fine. Really, I think anyone who disagrees is just being disingenuous, wanting to argue, etc. But we know how polite society works in real life. "Get fucked" is a totally legit response to that bullshit.
