Spent some time getting more familiar with Fractorium. Finally I feel like I've found a tool I can move on from Apophysis with- the workflow is similar enough, it works fine in linux bar some UI bugs with window transparency, and it's nice and modern in terms of resource use so GPU/OpenCL renders aren't a headache.
