ZX Spectrum was the first thing I programmed cellular automata, random walks and the Mandelbrot set on - in the early 90s after finding my step dad's Spectrum in the loft. It also had the funny little printer that burned images onto silver paper with an electric current. Just dug out an old sketchbook with some of those prints.
