I spend much of my time now in a varying tension between going-about-my-day and anxious-infuriated-dread, laced with as much joy and connection as I can muster. I am not immune to the more depressed side of all this.
But DAMN. Sometimes I go to read an essay written by someone with whom i am apparently in alignment, and I find some of the bleakest shit I've ever seen.
is this really how you want to cope with this? Screaming about humanity as a poison and flailing in despair? I just cannot.
